Each Jobyo release (web and mobile) and what it changes for you, newest first.

web-v1.2.0+27 — 2026-09-10​

Added​

  • Purchase invoices: you can now distribute an invoice's cost to your projects before the goods arrive. Invoices in this state are labelled "Distributed — awaiting receipt" (or "Partially received" once some goods are in), and a "Not ready to pay — goods not received" badge keeps the payment status honest until delivery is recorded. Receiving the goods remains the recommended next step, and the invoice tells you so.
  • Sale invoices: a settled invoice now shows its payment history — every customer payment applied to it, each linked to the payment's detail screen. If a payment is later refunded and the invoice reopens, a banner on the invoice explains what happened.

Improved​

  • Goods receipts: when a receipt is created from a purchase invoice, lines that need attention are now flagged before you approve — a possible mismatch with the linked purchase order, or a stock-vs-direct routing choice still to be made.

Added​

  • Customer payments: you can now issue a full refund directly from a collected payment's detail screen. A refund badge shows on refunded payments, and the refund action is available to users whose role permits it.
  • Sale invoices: when an invoice is linked to a work order, you can open that work order in one click from the invoice detail and edit screens.

Improved​

  • Purchase orders: choosing how a line is received — into stock or delivered direct — now drives the warehouse field automatically. "Direct" hides and clears the warehouse; "Stock" shows the warehouse picker, defaulting to your usual warehouse when left blank. When you record a receipt from a purchase order, each row's destination is pre-filled from that line's routing choice.
  • People's names now appear in place of internal identifiers across attendance, project forms, item and stock-movement details, the photo uploader, and warehouse screens — you'll see "Unknown" rather than a raw ID when a name can't be resolved.
  • Document PDFs: invoice notes now print at the top of page 1, matching the purchase-order layout, and long documents paginate more cleanly.

Fixed​

  • Document PDFs: the footer no longer reserves an empty box when the notes or terms contain only spaces.
  • Roles & permissions: the role-creation screen no longer overflows or crashes on narrow windows.

  • Teams: members can now be added or removed directly on the team edit form — no need to leave editing to manage the roster. Membership changes take effect immediately as you make them.

Fixed​

  • Teams: opening a team for editing now always loads the latest details and member list from the server, so saving no longer risks overwriting a colleague's more recent changes with stale on-screen information.
  • Roles & permissions: the preview shown when duplicating a role now reflects the role exactly as it is on the server, and its permissions summary counts every granted area — including behind-the-scenes access such as reference lists — where it previously could show too few.

  • Company settings: you can now record your RBQ contractor licence number and choose to display it on your documents. When enabled, it appears in the header of your purchase-order PDFs.

Improved​

  • Purchase-order PDFs: long orders now paginate cleanly — pages fill properly, wide amounts no longer get squeezed, and notes and terms print once at the end of the document instead of repeating.
  • Purchase orders: amounts on the view and edit screens (including the card view) are now shown with thousands separators and two decimals — for example 1,020,000.00 instead of 1020000.

  • Roles & permissions: duplicating a role now makes an exact copy — previously a copied role could silently lose some behind-the-scenes permissions (for example, a copied technician role could no longer link a work order to a project).
  • Team-based visibility: users whose role limits them to their own team now reliably see their team's work orders and schedules — team membership is read from each user's profile, so it always stays current.

  • Get paid online: the payment setup screen could show an error after returning from Stripe. It now picks up where you left off.

  • Get paid online: connect your business to Stripe from Settings and start accepting card payments. Send customers a secure payment link for any invoice, track each link's history, and see the invoice marked paid automatically once the payment settles.
  • Customers can pay their invoices directly from the customer portal with a "Pay this invoice" button.
  • Customer portal sign-in emails now come from Jobyo (no-reply@jobyo.io) and greet the customer by name.
  • Inventory: transfer stock between warehouses, with the movement recorded in the stock ledger.
  • Work orders: prepare a "customer copy" — you choose which work details and photos the customer sees in their portal before sending it.
  • Customers: WhatsApp is now available as a preferred communication channel, and portal settings have their own section on the customer form.

Improved​

  • Attendance: the approvals area is now a team review workspace open to every role — team members see their own records, approvers keep the approval controls. Missing check-outs and gaps between shifts are flagged in the review queue and week grid.
  • Forms on phones: the keyboard's Next/Done buttons now move through fields in order across work order, purchase, sales, and field-operations forms, and quick-create sheets focus their first field automatically.
  • Purchase orders: line rows reflow cleanly on narrow phone screens.

  • Customer list: long customer types no longer overflow the Type column.

  • Sign-up reliability: fixed a rare issue where quickly pressing sign up more than once (for example a double-tap, or pressing Enter and the button together) could create more than one account for the same email address. Only a single account is now created.

  • Active sessions: My Account now has an "Active sessions" section listing the devices currently signed in to your account, with the browser and operating system shown for each, so you can see where you're logged in.
  • Send product feedback: a new "Help & support" entry in the menu opens a panel where you can send feedback or report an issue, choose the type, and review the feedback you've submitted.
  • App version caption: the current app version now appears at the bottom of the menu and on the sign-in screen, making it easy to confirm which build you're running.

Improved​

  • Sortable lists: sales invoices and the customer, supplier, item, and worksite directories can now be sorted by column, and the sort applies across the whole list rather than just the page you're viewing.
  • Purchase orders: the purchase-order list gains a sort control and two new columns — Project and Approved by.

  • Purchase invoices: refundable deposits (such as container or cylinder deposits) can now be explicitly counted as a project cost when you choose to — a new "count as cost" option on the deposit line, with a clear confirmation of what it changes.
  • Purchase invoices and goods receipts: new shortcuts to jump straight to the related purchase order from the places you work with it.

Improved​

  • Deposits outstanding: the deposit-balances screen now shows supplier names and the full charge/refund history per deposit, with links to the source documents.
  • Purchase orders: linking an invoice or a receipt to a purchase order now carries that link across automatically — link it once on either document and the matching lines map everywhere.
  • Goods receipts: receipts now show a clear document-type header, and deposit lines are visibly marked as not received as goods.

Fixed​

  • Purchase invoices: percentage-based cost distribution on invoices that include refundable deposits now uses the correct base amount (net of taxes and deposits), so distributed amounts add up to the distributable total.
  • Purchase invoices: deposit lines no longer appear in cost distribution, receiving, or purchase-order line-mapping screens where they don't belong.

  • Purchase invoices: buttons in confirmation dialogs (such as "Unlink PO") no longer fail to respond when a document preview is open. The previewed document now stays visible while a dialog is shown, instead of being temporarily hidden.
